Who can take it, and when?

Learner (Free) members with a confirmed email, at no cost, from Thursday 12 November 2026. Pro members already have everything the prize unlocks, so the challenge is reserved for Learner members.

Is any real money involved?

No. The account is simulated with virtual money on live market prices. Nothing you do places a real order, and the prize is a Ten12 Pro membership with no cash value.

How do fills and prices work?

Orders fill on our server at live prices: Gold, Bitcoin, Ethereum, US Oil and Natural Gas from Binance USDⓈ-M futures; US100, US500 and US30 from CME index futures via Yahoo Finance (these can be delayed by several minutes). Market orders fill at the last price, limit orders when price trades through your level, stops and targets as soon as a one-minute candle touches them (if a candle touches both, the stop counts first; a gap fills at the opening price). Indices and energy close at weekends: market orders wait for the open. Fees are 0.05% taker and 0.02% maker. Funding and slippage are not simulated.

Why take it before a paid prop-firm challenge?

Paid prop-firm evaluations use rules like these: a profit target, a daily drawdown and a maximum loss. Passing the Ten12 Challenge for free tells you whether you can keep to them before you spend money on a real evaluation. It is not affiliated with any prop firm.

Which markets can I trade?

Gold (XAUUSD), Bitcoin (BTCUSD), Ethereum (ETHUSD), US100, US500, US30, US Oil and Natural Gas: the same markets as the paper trading simulator, so you can practise first.

How does the monthly leaderboard work?

A new leaderboard starts on the 12th of every month at 00:00 IST: Leaderboard, November 2026 runs from 12 November to 11 December, then Leaderboard, December 2026. Your attempt stays on the board of the month it started in.

Can I take it more than once?

Yes, up to three attempts per person in total. A new account on the same phone or computer does not reset the count: attempts from every account used on a device count together.

What voids a pass?

Multiple accounts, sharing an account or device, or exploiting the simulator. We review every pass before switching on the prize.
