What is Ten12 MacroIQ?
Ten12 MacroIQ is multi-asset quantitative market intelligence by Ten12 Mentors: a rules-based bias model covering 12 markets. For each market it scores nine groups of factors (rates and the Fed, inflation, growth, jobs, risk mood and liquidity, smart-money positioning, crowd sentiment and options, technicals and seasonality), weighted for that market, and combines them into one score from −100 to +100.
What is the difference between the MacroIQ score and the setup score?
Build your bias on the MacroIQ score. It is the full model: nine weighted factor groups and 35+ drivers per market, with release surprises, conviction and a track record. The setup score in Top setups is a quick, equal-weight tally of 18 cells from −2 to +2, useful for scanning. When both point the same way the read is better supported; when they disagree, size down or wait for price to confirm.
Why is gold analysed on XAUUSD but shown as XAUUSDT?
Most of the world's gold trading happens in spot gold (XAUUSD) and COMEX futures, so that is where the price trend, big-speculator positioning, options and the retail crowd carry real information. MacroIQ reads gold there for accuracy. The price shown is XAUUSDT, the USDT-settled crypto contract available to Indian traders, which tracks spot gold closely.
How should I read the put/call ratio?
Put/call is puts traded divided by calls traded, so 0.60 means about 6 puts for every 10 calls: options traders lean bullish. What matters is the reading against that market's own history. Unusually heavy put buying shows fear and often appears near short-term lows, so shorts can get squeezed; very little put buying shows complacency, so longs can get flushed. MacroIQ combines it with retail and COT positioning into a plain-English squeeze-risk read for each market.
How do traders use the score?
Above +15 the backdrop favours longs, below −15 it favours shorts, and +45 or −45 marks a strong bias. Traders use it as context: favour setups in the bias direction, be pickier against it, and stand aside when it is neutral and the factors disagree. It is not an entry signal.
How often does it update?
Every three hours, and about 45 minutes after high-impact US releases such as CPI, payrolls and Fed decisions, so a surprise is reflected quickly.
Where does the data come from?
Public sources: the St. Louis Fed (FRED) for yields, the dollar, inflation, growth, jobs, VIX, credit spreads and liquidity; consensus forecasts from the economic calendar; the CFTC Commitments of Traders report; Binance market data for price, technicals, funding, open interest and long/short ratios; Deribit and CBOE options volume; Yahoo Finance prices for indices, commodities and the dollar; stablecoin supply; and the Crypto Fear & Greed index.
