What does Ten12 GuardX do?
GuardX connects to your MetaTrader 4 or 5 account through a small Expert Advisor and holds you to the risk rules you set. If a trade breaks a rule it closes that trade; if you hit a day limit such as your daily loss limit, it locks new trades for a 12, 24 or 36-hour cooldown. It also journals every trade and scores your trading from 300 to 850.
Does GuardX place trades for me?
No. GuardX never opens a trade and never moves your stop or target. It only closes positions and deletes pending orders that break the rules you set.
What happens if my internet or terminal goes off?
GuardX enforces your rules while MetaTrader is running, so a VPS is best. If the terminal can't reach Ten12 for a while, the Expert Advisor keeps applying the stop-loss, lot size, risk and cooldown rules on its own.
Can I switch a rule off during a cooldown?
No. Rules can't be changed while a cooldown is running. That is the point: the decision is made when you are calm, not in the middle of a bad day.
Which platforms does it support?
MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, any account you can attach an Expert Advisor to, including demo and evaluation accounts. Binance futures support is planned.
How is the trade score calculated?
From your closed trades: growth per month (deposits excluded), Sharpe ratio, t-stat, profit factor and risk control (drawdown, stop-loss use and steady sizing). Each part is scored 0 to 100 and combined into a score from 300 to 850. Under 20 trades the score is provisional.
Is GuardX included in Pro?
Yes. Ten12 GuardX is part of Ten12 Pro, with MacroIQ for all 12 markets, the full journal and every course. The free score checker on this page is open to everyone.
Ten12 GuardX is discipline software for your own MetaTrader account. It closes positions and deletes pending orders under the rules you set; closing at market can mean slippage, and rules apply only while the terminal is running.
